Thank you one and all for your outstanding support of our Halloween Fun Fair and Haunted House! Huge shout out to all the volunteers who make this event possible!
This event was filled with smiles of hundreds of kids excited to see their friends in costume and play games together, families sharing their favorite haunted house scenes and spending time chatting together in the cafeteria or while waiting in line.
Hope you can join us in October 2020.
2019 Schedule of Events:
All events take place at Hollis Upper Elementary School on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
***CASH ONLY AT THE EVENT***
Costumes are welcome and encouraged!
Starting at 3:30PM in the HUES lobby: HEPTA table will have all pre-orders for pick up and sell Fun Fair game bracelets and cake walk tickets only. Haunted House table in the lobby is where to buy Haunted House tickets/get boarding passes and turn in pre-bought Haunted House tickets for a boarding pass with a letter for "timed" entry into the Haunted House to limit waiting in line. See Boarding Pass 101 for details!
*** Please note the Haunted House opens once the fire department completes their inspection of this incredible creation that goes up in just 24 hours so Haunted House entry could start slightly after 4PM***
Boarding Passes 101: Lettered boarding passes tell you when to get in line for the Haunted House to limit your wait time. Say you have a "Lights On E" boarding pass, you get in line when the sign says now boarding E. If have an A,B,C,or D but did not board during those letters, you may enter with the next boarding letter (F in this example), not the current one that is boarding.

Games and prizes geared toward preschool/elementary aged children (lower level - take walkway behind the building to access the gym). $15/child includes wristband for unlimited fun fair games, face and nail painting and 1 cake walk ticket. The Halloween Fun Fair & Haunted House is our second largest fundraiser of the school year. Don't forget that the Halloween Fun Fair and Haunted House cannot run without the help of volunteers!
The Haunted House portion of this event is the result of months of work of a dedicated crew of volunteers working along side Randy Forgaard. Thank you to this amazing group for their gift of this Haunted House creation and its proceeds to this event - 42 years and counting! This group also spread their wings in 2019 and launched Skull and Bones BBQ Crew at Hollis Old Home Days and donated over $1100 in proceeds to HEPTA!
If interested in volunteering in the lead up to and /or weekend of 10/19 to assist the Haunted House crew, please visit Hollis Haunted House
