Evening Mindfulness session for parents
The Hollis PTA is excited to welcome Kaitlin Stearns, an educator and yoga practitioner, to speak about Mindfulness and it's benefits for both children and adults. Kaitlin has her undergraduate and graduate degree in education and worked in public education for 10 years before pursuing a career as a mother and yoga teacher. While immersed in public education, she focused on growth mindset and social-emotional well being as areas of personal interest. She is a certified yoga teacher and creator of a Family Yoga program at a local studio which focuses on managing big emotions, remaining present, mindfulness and strengthening of the parent/child relationship.
Please join us to learn more about the research on the extensive benefits of mindfulness and how you can incorporate it into your family life. This event will take place in the Learning Commons at HPS.
